I do not have any experience regarding with the Martial Law but if I will be given the chance, I want to experience it. As we all know, the Proclamation of Martial Law was on September 21, 1972, and it was under the Presidency of Ferdinand E. Marcos. This Proclamation suspended the civil rights and imposed military authority in the country.

Actually, we are already experiencing such things right now with our President Rodrigo Duterte, which he is imposing at the Mindanao Region. Our President is trying to defend the declaration, he is stressing the need for extra supremacy to put a stop on the rising wave of violence that is allegedly caused by the communists. His intention are to eradicate the roots of rebellion and promote a rapid trend for national peace and development.

Martial Law is not actually a drawback to us, but it had emphasized the need for control over civil disobedience that displays lawlessness. Filipino people will learn to discipline themselves and learn to be obedient through the imposed proclamation of President Ferdinand Marcos.

As President Ferdinand Marcos said, “Martial Law is a strategic approach to legally defend the constitution and protect the welfare of the Filipino people from dangerous threats posed by the Muslim rebel Groups”.

These rebel groups threatened the peace and order of the country triggered President Rodrigo Duterte to declare an Emergency rule to protect our country and to solve such problems. Experiencing curfews at night time, banning of groups, assemblies and the authorized militaries to arrest individual conspiracy to take over the government.

President Rodrigo Duterte continues the legacy of President Ferdinand Marcos into changing the Philippines country into a country for the people and a country of peace. Aiming for the safety of his people and a better, safer and peaceful future for us and up to the next generation.
