FERDINAND MARCOS: SCARY JESUS

Ferdinand Edralin Marcos, Termed to be the Dictator and he is the head of Martial Law.

He is the 10th President of the Philippines who runs his presidency for 20 years. If you say Ferdinand Marcos, many nation will arise. Some say negative thoughts, such as the dictator. A person who propagate martial law which thousands of people die.

December 30, 1965 when he was sworn to be the president of the Philippines. Ferdinand Marcos was the first President to be reelected to a second term in the Philippines. Within weeks of his reelected, he faced violent public protect against him rules by citizen. Student demanded education reforms, and threats are reemerged. He responded all the threats by declaring Martial Law on September 21, 1972. He imposed curfew and jailed opponents like Ninoy Aquino. Martial Law lasted for 9 years until January 21, 1981.

During Martial Law. He took extraordinary power. He used the country’s military as a weapon to his political enemy. Even the assassination of Benigno Aquino’s held to be his opinion to our country. Not all his action marks as dark one, but sometimes it is also a bright one. Infrastructure were build, not only a simple infrastructure but infrastructure that last us to present. The fame of San Juanico Bridge of Leyte, the San Lazaro Hospital. Philippines Orthopedic Center, are one of his legend that last long. Philippines economy and stock exchange was already improve thru President Marcos.

Yes there’s up and down, but one thing I sure the Legends of Marcos are the one who is useful to all Filipino now a days.
