TOO MUCH AND NOT ENOUGH

If I were the parent in the poem “Apo on the Wall”, I will be just as strict as he did to his child, in order for them to grow up disciplined to others and their selves, and to let them learn the harshness of life in a young age. Being a parent is tough, it is a big responsibility because the way you raise your child is what and who they will be in the future. Strictness is not what a parent wants to do but what they need to do, being strict is a need for their child even if being strict is not a pleasant feeling or act for them.

Strictness leads to two things. Giving your child a better life and giving your child a controlled life. A better life because they will know their limitations, know what is right from wrong. Being disciplined in life brings good people around you, being respectful makes people respect you. A controlled life in which everything is restricted that you will start to miss out the fun, to miss out what it means to be a teenager, to have friends and to be yourself.

Too much and not enough. Everything should be balanced in life because too much of something can make a person suffocate and be tired of that while not having enough will make you search for that missing thing, making you greedy and unsatisfied.
